Is Montana the fastest course in the Wicked Fast Race Series? Nope—and we want to be upfront about that. But is it fast for Montana? Absolutely.

Wicked Fast Montana combines approximately 1,200 feet of net elevation drop with the incredible scenery of Paradise Valley. Along the way, expect some gentle rollers and approximately 40% gravel, 60% PAVED, so this isn't a straight-down-the-mountain race. It's a course that rewards smart pacing while still giving runners a nice overall downhill advantage.

There's another factor that makes Montana unique: altitude. You'll start high in the mountains at about 5,800 feet above sea level, then descend into Paradise Valley and finish around 4,600 feet.

What you get in return may be the best scenery in our entire Wicked Fast series—towering mountains, wide-open Montana landscapes, beautiful ranch country, and the spectacular backdrop of Paradise Valley.

So if you're looking for our absolute fastest course, we have other Wicked Fast races for that. But if you want a course that's fast for Montana, challenging enough to keep things interesting, and quite possibly one of the most beautiful 26.2 miles you'll ever run, Montana belongs on your race calendar.
